Environmentally friendly upgrading of existing hydropower in Norway 23. Juni 2021 | 13:15 Uhr - 14:45 Uhr

The major part of the hydropower potential in Norway is already developed. However, in the near future with large construction of wind power, upgrading of the existing hydropower plants is necessary to provide power and energy balancing to the power grid. This presentation will present research on environmentally friendly upgrading of hydropower in Norway. In addition, some specific project on upgrading of existing conventional hydropower plant into pumped storage plants will be presented.

Das Wasserbauseminar findet im Sommersemester 2021 Corona-bedingt jeweils mittwochs von 13:15 bis 14:45 Uhr online statt und wird über die virtuelle Lehrplattform StudIP von den Studierenden besucht.
