Lunch Break „AI Narratives“ 30. April 2025 | 11:30 Uhr - 12:00 Uhr

„AI Narratives: Why Stories we tell about AI matter“ –
Intersectional Feminism(s) have provided us with frameworks, tools and theories to better understand how Gender, Race and Class interlock and shape our realities. Feminist science and technology studies implement these approaches to analyze power structures and highlight harms to marginalized communities in technology domains.
Narratives about AI that reach us through Media, social media and tech CEOs might not be enough to fully understand the technology and its impact on societies. These might focus and highlight the tech’s productivity, speed, effectiveness and innovation. But the story of AI is worthy a deeper dive; by sharing untold stories about AI through an intersectional feminist lens, we hope to bridge the AI narratives’ gap.
