Trans Urban X Schoduvel floats from HBK Braunschweig and TU Braunschweig becoming a venue for events

After the successful participation in the Schoduvel with two motif floats and a foot group for the “Karneval*Diversity”, the Braunschweig University of Art and TU Braunschweig continue their cooperation with a compact programme of events in June and July.

From 6 to 14 June, the two motif floats will be transformed into a walk-on platform on the Herzogin-Anna-Amalia-Platz behind the Braunschweig Schloss-Arkaden, which will change its shape depending on how it is used: Cinema, stage, printing workshop, lecture room, sound sculpture or even seminar room.

Under the title Trans Urban X, teachers and students from both universities will continue to explore the topic of diversity in various formats. After starting at Herzogin-Anna-Amalia-Platz, the platform changes locations. On 26 June, on the occasion of the Diversity Day, the floats will be at the University Square of TU Braunschweig. From 14 to 16 July, the platform will be installed on Johannes-Selenka-Platz as part of the HBK Braunschweig’s Rundgang.

The cooperation project is funded by the Stiftung Niedersachsen and the Stiftung Braunschweigischer Kulturbesitz.
