Tag der Schiene with TU Braunschweig

The Braunschweig region reflects the diversity of the railway industry and railway systems in a very special way. On 21 September, the rail transport region will present itself as part of the European Mobility Week on Braunschweig’s Schlossplatz. The Technische Universität Braunschweig will also be presenting its railway-related study programmes.

From 12:00 to 16:00, prospective students will be able to get information about the study programmes Transport Engineering, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Students and lecturers, including those from the Institute of Railway Systems Engineering and Traffic Safety (IfEV) and the Institute of Transport, Railway Construction and Operation (IVE), will provide an exciting insight into the degree programmes, highlight the wide range of careers in rail transport and be available to answer questions.

Visitors will also be able to take a seat in the cab simulator and try out what it is like to be a train driver.
