Niedersächsische Summer School on Fuel Cells and Batteries

The energy transition requires new answers for efficient power generation and storage. Fuel cells and batteries are two of the most promising solutions, and both topics are united in the field of Electrochemistry. The Niedersächsische Summer School, from 23 to 27 September 2024, offers insights into this topic and is aimed at students, graduates and young professionals.

During the Summer School week, experts from science and industry will explain the basics of Electrochemistry, provide an overview of the various technologies and offer interesting practical insights. The week in Braunschweig will be rounded off by a varied framework programme including a barbecue get-together, a city tour, excursions and evening talks.

The aim of the event is to provide young scientists with practical career preparation. The success of this approach is reflected in the fact that many participants from previous events are now working in industry and research on solutions to problems discussed at the Summer School.

This year’s Summer School is organised by CUTEC (TU Clausthal) in cooperation with the Battery LabFactory Braunschweig (BLB) and the Energy Research Centre of Lower Saxony (EFZN). For online registration: www.efzn.de/summerschool2024
