Kinder-Uni Braunschweig: Registration begins Three lectures on the topic of ‘Recycling’ accompanied by a podcast series

Children between the ages of eight and twelve who are enthusiastic about science can register for the upcoming Kinder-Uni season starting on 15 September 2025. This year, scientists from TU Braunschweig will answer questions on the topic of ‘recycling’ in three exciting lectures. The lectures will be supplemented by the podcast series ‘Clever nachgefragt!’ (Clever questions!) on the theme of ‘recycling’.

The Kinder-Uni Braunschweig is an event for children between the ages of 8 and 12. In exciting lectures, pupils can discover science in an entertaining way and learn more about various topics. The lectures are free of charge and offer the opportunity to meet real researchers and ask questions. Parents and accompanying adults can follow the lectures in a neighbouring lecture hall.

The Kinder-Uni lectures will take place on the following Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Audimax of TU Braunschweig:

25 October, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.:

Prof. Dr. Thomas Dockhorn | Institute for Urban Water Management

8 November, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.:

The lectures are supplemented by the podcast series ‘Clever nachgefragt!’ (Clever questions!). The new episodes on the topic of ‘Recycling’ will be published on the Kinder-Uni website at the beginning of October 2025.

The podcast series ‘Clever nachgefragt!’ with TU scientists is sponsored by the Ecki Wohlgehagen Foundation and the Braunschweig Community Foundation and is carried out in cooperation with the City of Braunschweig and Haus der Wissenschaft GmbH.
