Virtual walk around the campus 360° tour brings TU Braunschweig home
Take a detour into the library, look into the lecture halls and seminar rooms of the Historic Main Building, walk across the campus at the Research Airport or the sports field of the Sports Centre or visit the student house MaschBau – and all this from home or on the road. The Academic Advisory Service (ZSB) offers prospective students an interactive 360° tour to get to know the campus: Because “on site” is the best way to get an impression of your future alma mater when making a study decision.
The 360° tour begins on the university square. With a click, you can navigate from there to the Historic Main Building or the library, for example, and take a virtual look around. You can get a good idea of what the university square looks like. Some of the lecture hall doors in the Historic Main Building also open and you can choose a place to study in the University Library. The tour continues to the Sports Centre, the student house Masch.Bau at Langer Kamp and the Research Airport.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, many buildings were not accessible to the public. This made it impossible for prospective students to visit TU Braunschweig,” says Anja Rasche from the ZSB. “With the tour, we are now creating an opportunity to take a close look at the campus before deciding to study in Braunschweig. And it is also easier for new students to find their way around at the beginning. It almost feels as if you have visited the campus live.”
360° tour will be extended
Over the next few months, the tour will be gradually extended. Many institutes will open their doors and soon you will also be able to walk around the North and East Campuses or through the Botanical Garden.
