The LeoVan, a TU owned small van, is on the road: the university’s new mobile school laboratory brings experiments directly to schools and youth centres across the region. At the launch event at the Ricarda-Huch-Schule, pupils were able to conduct their own research and try things out for themselves.
► Frustrated, more frustrated, more complicated
An international research team led by Prof. Stefan Süllow is investigating the mineral clinoatacamite. The study reveals an unusually strong competition between magnetic states – with potential implications for future quantum technologies. The findings have now been published in the journal Physical Review Letters.
