ULI GERMANY Leadership Award for Prof. Elisabeth Endres

Professor Elisabeth Endres, Head of the Institute for Building Climate and Energy of Architecture, was recently honoured in Berlin with the ULI Germany Leadership Award 2025 in the category ‘Urban Innovation’. The Urban Land Institute awards have been presented since 2005 for forward-thinking, sustainable thinking and action in the categories of Young Leader, Urban Innovation, Urban Planning, Real Estate and Lifetime Achievement.

“As a lecturer in Braunschweig, co-managing director of IB Hausladen in Munich and, most recently, co-curator of the German Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale in Venice, Elisabeth Endres’ expertise is surpassed only by her ability to communicate it,” emphasised architect Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer in his laudatory speech.

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a global, member-led research and education organisation with over 47,000 members dedicated to the exchange of ideas on sustainable urban development and use, and all aspects of the real estate industry.
