TU Braunschweig is one of the “Erasmus Without Paper Champions”

TU Braunschweig has been awarded by the European Commission for the implementation of the “Erasmus Without Paper” measures. The nomination as “Erasmus Without Paper Champion” is a recognition of the great commitment shown by TU Braunschweig in the transition phase from the paper-based administration of the Erasmus+ programme to digital administration.

Francesco Ducatelli, Head of the Mobility Office in the International House, and Jacquelin Wolf, Project Coordinator for “Erasmus Without Paper” are delighted about the award: “Thanks to the support of the university management, the administration, the Gauss IT Center and the faculties, we were able to master the first steps of the transition phase in an exemplary manner,” Ducatelli emphasizes. However, the award is just one step on the still long road to the complete digitization of the mobility programme. As one of the Erasmus Without Paper Champions, TU Braunschweig will work even more closely with the EU Commission in the future to jointly advance the digital management of Erasmus+.

“Erasmus Without Paper” is a project of the EU Commission that deals with the digitalization of administrative processes within the mobility program. The goal is a secure and paperless exchange of data and information. All universities that have an Erasmus University Charter have committed to implementing “Erasmus Without Paper” – including the TU Braunschweig. Currently, the project is planned to be implemented within the current programme generation of Erasmus+, which runs until 2027.
