What’s university life like? TU Braunschweig invites you The proof is in the pudding: get a taste of campus life at the University Information Day
For many young people, choosing a degree subject is more than just the next step after school. At this stage, prospective students are grappling with many questions: What really interests me? Which subject suits me? What do I want to achieve with the knowledge I gain? On Friday, 29 May 2026, TU Braunschweig will be showing young talents what university life is like on the central campus. Online events to provide an initial orientation will take place from 19 May onwards.
The world young people are entering today is not an easy one: an uncertain economy, crises and climate change. Many of the major challenges of our time cannot be solved alone. They require people who can bring together their knowledge, their skills and their determination to make a difference. At TU Braunschweig, that is exactly what happens: here, young people build their strength for the future.
At the University Information Day (HIT), on 29 May 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm, prospective students and their parents can experience what it’s like to be part of TU Braunschweig. You can attend taster lectures, find out about degree programmes, speak to students, take part in campus tours, get advice at information stands and attend talks on topics such as applications, funding and starting your studies.
TU Braunschweig offers around 100 degree programmes. Many of these focus on future-oriented topics: mobility, health, cities and sustainability. The University Information Day is therefore not just about degree programmes and deadlines, but also about future prospects. What opportunities does a degree open up? How do you get started? And how can an interest develop into a career path?
Register now, get a taste of campus life and find the right degree programme.

Even before the University Information Day, TU Braunschweig offers the chance to get your bearings online in advance with ‘FIT for HIT’. An information session for parents is also planned. This will start on 19 May 2026. The events are free of charge and no registration is required.
