TU Braunschweig is opening its doors to prospective students University Information Day on 13 June 2025
TU Braunschweig invites all school pupils, school leavers and prospective students to its University Information Day (HIT) on campus on 13 June 2025. From 9:00 to 15:00, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about their desired subjects, experience university life through lectures, and explore TU Braunschweig’s campus.
On University Information Day (HIT), the central campus of TU Braunschweig will become a lively meeting place for anyone interested in studying. Whether you have questions about admission requirements or the application process, or simply want to experience the campus atmosphere, University Information Day offers the perfect opportunity to plan your studies at TU Braunschweig.
Talks with students provide authentic insights into university life. In the “Meet the TU” format, prospective students have the opportunity to talk to representatives of the faculties and the service and advisory facilities and to get to know their desired subject even better through hands-on activities, experiments and exhibits. Campus tours, information stands and lectures on all aspects of studying offer unique insights into academic life at TU. Important questions such as “What should I study? What do “unrestricted admission” and “restricted admission” mean? When do I have to apply, and how does that work? Do I need an internship? Where can I live? And how much does it all cost?” will be addressed.
There are numerous taster lectures and course profiles that offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in your chosen subject and experience a “real” lecture first-hand. A wide range of topics – from fish as builders to grey-green infrastructure and literature under electricity – demonstrate the diversity of TU. In addition to classic campus tours, there is also the opportunity to take part in Actionbounds: digital educational routes based on the principle of a scavenger hunt. Institute tours and hands-on activities on campus round off the programme.
