From rallies on campus and in the city, to joint breakfasts or barbecues, to pub crawls, there are many opportunities to get to know the university, the city and, of course, the fellow students.

Welcome Week for international students

For all international students newly arriving in Braunschweig, the International House, together with other TU institutions and student initiatives, is once again organising a Welcome Week with a diverse programme. The students can explore the university and the city of Braunschweig. An overview of all the offers during the Welcome Week and a presentation of the contact persons for internationals will be given at the Kick-Off Event on 16 October at 14:30 in the Main Lecture Hall.

New to the programme this year is the Welcome Lounge, which is located on the ground floor of the International House during Welcome Week. Here, students can chill out with music and drinks on comfortable seating, exchange ideas with other students or try out games together. In addition, campus tours, information events, workshops and networking events will be offered. Highlights of the week include a first-semester excursion with the International Student Support Team to the Autostadt Wolfsburg and a trip to the Harz Mountains with the Erasmus Student Network Braunschweig.

After the Welcome Week, the regular semester programme of the International Student Support will start with excursions, workshops, networking opportunities and much more. The semester programme will be online in the event calendar for international students from 6 October.
