TU for Future Series of lectures on climate protection starts on 25 October
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In the lecture series “TU for Future”, scientists from a wide range of disciplines at Technische Universität Braunschweig and other nationwide research institutions present their perspectives on sustainability and climate-relevant problems and show approaches to solutions on topics such as climate justice, climate protection, architecture, mobility and water supply in climate change.
The lecture series on climate protection starts on 25 October with a lecture by Mariça Rapior on the topic “Nachhaltigkeit – Was ist das eigentlich? Warum handelt die eine mehr und der andere weniger nachhaltig? Und wie können wir nachhaltiges Verhalten erfassen?“ (Sustainability – What is it actually? Why does one act more and the other less sustainably? And how can we capture sustainable behaviour?”)
The organisers are the Green Office of TU Braunschweig, the Ecology Department of the General Student Committee (AStA) and Students for Future Braunschweig. Participation is rewarded with 1 credit point for students. The lectures will then be published online on the YouTube channel of Fridays for Future Braunschweig.
The event is open to all interested persons. Admission is free of charge.
