TU Braunschweig in Festival Summer Season The CampusXperience Festival celebrates diversity
The CampusXperience Festival will take place for the first time from 20 to 22 June 2025 under the motto ‘Explore. Celebrate. Play.’ The festival showcases the many facets of university life at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Everyone who wants to get a taste of campus life is invited. Young people, families, interested citizens and university members can discover the diversity of the TU during the three days of the festival, which includes many activities and events related to research, music and sports. CampusXperience takes place in cooperation with the AStA, the Braunschweig Youth Council and the Haus der Wissenschaft.
The event kicks off on Friday 20 June at 7pm with a Science Slam, where TU researchers will present short talks on projects in the fields of Metrology, Future City, Engineering for Health and Mobility.
On Saturday 21 June, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can take part in guided tours of various laboratories and facilities at TU Braunschweig, with a total of 52 such tours on offer. There will also be special programmes for children and alumni, as well as a shuttle service provided by the BSVG between the various campus locations.
On Saturday afternoon the Summervibes Festival will take place in cooperation with the AStA, the student association ‘vonSeite’ and the Braunschweig Youth Council. There will be seven areas on the North Campus where guests can dance, move, learn and exchange ideas. The Science Field offers lectures, talks and workshops on key topics such as sustainability and mobility. In addition, all six faculties of the TU Braunschweig will be present with exhibits and science to touch. A giant trampoline and hands-on activities such as a screen-printing stand, as well as live sounds and electronic music from artists such as Remote Bondage and Emily Rose, will create the right festival atmosphere in the open-air area.
The University Sports Festival on Sunday 22 June will bring the festival to a close. Twelve different sports groups will be on hand in the Franz-Liszt-Straße open-air area, inviting you to try out trendy sports. From acro yoga and calisthenics to hyrox and parkour, there is something for everyone. Sports enthusiasts can compete in beach volleyball and basketball tournaments. Meanwhile, free childcare is available for the little ones. The experience is rounded off by a varied stage programme featuring Lindy Hop and Salsa dancers, as well as a wide range of gastronomic delights.
