► Battery research: New Research Training Group on sustainability of lithium-ion batteries
The mobility revolution is accompanied by an increasing demand for Li-ion batteries. The recycling of raw materials is crucial to increasing sustainability in the electromobility sector. This topic will be explored in depth in a new research training group starting in October 2021.
► Agnes Pockels Fellowship for Professor Agarwal
On February 22, Jessica Agarwal was awarded the Agnes Pockels Fellowship of TU Braunschweig. Prof Agarwal heads the Solar System Astronomy group at the Institute of Geophysics and Extraterrestrial Physics. There she researches small bodies such as asteroids and comets.
► 3rd round: Service for pharmaceutical research extended
With 2.8 million euros, the DFG is funding the Specialized Information Service (FID) Pharmacy for another three years. The university library and the Institute for Information Systems are thus continuing the successful cooperation between information infrastructure and research-based informatics.
