Remembering the best times with music, talk and science slam This year, for the first time, the Mechanical Engineering Day for graduates of Faculty 4 will come from the Studio
The Graduation day of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering 2022 has something new to offer for three years. Representatives of the faculty, students and graduates from 2019 to 2021 will have their say in three panel discussions. There will also be live music by Soul2Keys. In addition, graduates can experience a special journey through time with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The event will be streamed on 15 May at 15:00 on the YouTube channel of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
“Something special about this year’s format of our graduate event is the many very personal contributions and impressions of the talk guests. The mix of short video contributions, live music and science slam is lively and entertaining,” says Dean Professor Klaus Dröder.
The programme will be hosted by Martin Buchholz from the Institute for Thermodynamics and Marc Fischer from the office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. “The focus is on our graduates, their time and experiences at and with the TU. The ‘selfie film’ made up of submitted photo contributions, which we can only show once at the premiere, represents a real highlight of the student years. We also want to talk about voluntary work and special challenges. And of course we also have to talk about the pandemic and how it has turned the teaching programme upside down in a short time. Our tip: Be curious, tune in on time and definitely don’t miss the end,” the two presenters recommend.
