Photo contest for the campaign #WelcomeToTUBraunschweig Judging panel selects the winners

As the finale of this year’s welcome campaign for students, TU Braunschweig organised a photo contest from the end of October to the beginning of November. The theme: “Impressions and emotions – show us your start into the new semester”. Now the judges have made their decision and chosen three winners.

The range of photos was wide: from autumn landscapes to campus impressions to very private snapshots, everything was there. A total of 25 participants sent in contributions. The panel of judges, consisting of Sabrina Ammann, chair of the Student Parliament, Simone Fürst, photographer at the International House, and Markus Hörster, editor at TU Braunschweig’s Communication and Press Service, found it accordingly difficult to make a decision.

“We were very pleased with the numerous submissions,” reports Markus Hörster. “The selection was not easy for us in view of the many beautiful photos. At our judging session, the three winning photos emerged unanimously in the end. The three photographers have captured the start of their winter semester very creatively.”
