‘A big thank you to the members of the TU Senate 2023-2025′ Last session of current Senate
This is where the most important questions about the future of TU Braunschweig are discussed: representatives of all member groups meet once a month in the Senate, chaired by the President, to make important decisions about the strategic direction of our university.

Yesterday, 19 March, the current Senate met for the last time before the newly elected body continues its valuable work on 2 April. The term of office, which is now coming to an end, was marked by a number of important decisions and, above all, by a positive development in the cooperation between the Executive Board and the Senate. The relevant strategic processes were dealt with by both bodies in a complementary manner and were accompanied by constructive debates.
TU President Angela Ittel emphasises the great potential of this constellation: ‘To strengthen TU Braunschweig in the long term, it is essential that we actively shape the networks in our scientific ecosystem. The cornerstone for this is the internal strategic capability of our university: that we succeed in developing forward-looking priorities, agreeing on them in our committees and then implementing them together. In this respect, I would like to express my sincere thanks to each and every member of the outgoing Senate, especially for their willingness to engage in the new formats of active discussion between the Executive Board, the Senate and other bodies. We will continue and expand these formats of cooperation with the members of the future Senate. This is the only way we can do justice to the importance of these bodies and shape our University together.’
