The Chinese Automotive Industry in transition 18. September 2025 | 10:00 h - 12:00 h
Currently, China is at the forefront of electromobility and autonomous driving technologies, which is shaping the industry worldwide. However, this success is not without its challenges. The introductory event will provide knowledge about the historical development and key factors in the transformation of the Chinese automotive industry (government support, technology, global strategies) and current trends in electromobility and sustainable mobility solutions in China. Among other things, the role of China as the world’s largest car market, changes in consumer behavior and preferences and political measures in China will be examined, including an analysis of major companies (e.g. BYD, NIO, Geely, Xpeng).
