Trainee at TU Braunschweig ranked first place in Lower Saxony

Delijan Seeleke achieved the highest mark in the final examination for his microtechnology training with 98 points. This makes him not only the best in his year 2025 at the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), but also the best microtechnology trainee in Lower Saxony.

He was honoured for this achievement at IHK Lower Saxony’s state awards ceremony in the Ilseder Gebläsehalle near Peine. IHKN President Tobias Hoffmann praised not only the outstanding performance of the trainees, but also that of their trainers: in Delijan Seeleke’s case, these are Bettina Thürmann and Anke Moritz.

Although Delijan Seeleke has now completed his training as a microtechnologist, he will continue to work on a project at the Institute for Microtechnology. His next step is to train as a technician, which he will do alongside his job.

The three-year training programme to become a microtechnologist at the Institute for Microtechnology requires a great deal of care and dexterity. Microtechnologists specialising in microsystems technology manufacture microtechnical products in whole or in part, such as sensors in motor vehicles, medical devices or components for mobile phones, etc.
