By Online Application to a Study Place Final spurt of applications for academic subjects with restricted admissions underway

Prospective students need to be quick – at least if they want to study Architecture, Psychology or other subjects with restricted admissions at Technische Universität Braunschweig. The application deadline is only 15 July. In keeping with this, the Student Office has simplified the application process for a large part of the degree programmes. The application can now be submitted completely online within a few minutes.

Selecting a degree programme, completing the online application in the application portal, uploading the application documents and sending them off – this is how easy it will be in future to apply for a study place at TU Braunschweig. The application process for a large part of the degree programmes is now possible exclusively online. “You can now apply purely online for all Bachelor’s degree programmes with restricted admissions. For difficulties, we are still happy to provide on-site support at our Study Service Centre,” explains Katharina Radke, deputy head of the Student Office at TU Braunschweig.

Quick and uncomplicated application

Previously, prospective students had to either send in their application documents by post or hand them in personally at the Study Service Centre. With the new online application, applicants are now independent of the postal service and the opening hours of the Study Service Centre. This should be particularly convenient for those who decide at short notice. “The online procedure makes applying a quick, uncomplicated affair,” says Radke. “Currently, applications can still be processed almost on a daily basis. So it’s especially worthwhile to submit your application quickly.” Applicants can check the processing status of their application at any time in the application portal.

The application deadline for all degree programmes with restricted admissions is 15 July. Those interested in enrolling in free admission degree programmes still have a little more time. Enrolment is still possible until 15 October. Prospective students who have not yet decided on a degree programme can inform themselves about their study options at TU Braunschweig on 22 September at the Hochschulinformationstag (University Information Day).
