WirtschaftsWoche university ranking: Four TU degree programs in the top 10 Excellent job opportunities for TU engineering graduates

The WirtschaftsWoche university ranking confirms that Technische Universität Braunschweig has a very good reputation among employers. Four engineering degree programmes are among the top 10. Graduates of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and business informatics were able to impress recruiters and are favoured in the recruitment process. For the WirtschaftsWoche university ranking, 483 HR managers from German companies were surveyed by a consultancy firm.

The university ranking confirms that the TU Braunschweig prepares its graduates in the four degree programmes optimally for professional life and its requirements.

TU Braunschweig was able to improve its ranking in three of the four degree programmes compared to the previous year. The fourth programme maintained its ranking.

In the comparative study, industrial engineering and management was ranked seventh in Germany. Electrical engineering and mechanical engineering were both ranked ninth. Information systems came tenth.

In addition to subject-specific qualifications, respondents also indicated what they considered to be the most important qualities in applicants. In addition to degree programme and personality, this year’s hiring managers placed greater emphasis on fluency in English, social commitment and knowledge of another foreign language.
