► The adventure of studying abroad
For international students, there is now a newly developed International Student Support programme: “START” with offers to help students get started, “CONNECT” with networking events and opportunities to get to know each other, the excursion programme “DISCOVER”, and the language course and workshop programme “PRACTISE”.
► With distance to more safety in cycling
The OpenBikeSensor Braunschweig project, which is funded by the Sandkasten platform, aims to find out whether distances are maintained when cyclists are overtaken and to collect data on traffic conditions for cyclists with the help of students.
► DICE: Conference on the future of digital international teaching in higher education
From 30 November to 2 December 2022, the DICE Conference will discuss innovative ideas for the advancement of digital international teaching and jointly develop sustainable concepts. The Conference will take place online. Registration is now open.
► Postdoc programme is online
The new postdoc programme for the next semester offers events on topics such as entrepreneurship, science communication, appointment processes, career planning outside academia and much more.
► Darling of the week
Our darling of the week is Tampere University, our strategic international partner in Finland. Terveisiä Tampereelta, greetings from Tampere are currently being sent to us by the TU delegation led by our President Prof. Angela Ittel, who is exploring further cooperation opportunities together with the Finnish partners. We look forward to our continued cooperation and the return visit to TU Braunschweig.
