Reimagining Global Education for an Era of Wicked Problems 1. December 2022 | 16:30 h - 18:00 h

We are facing an era of overlapping “wicked problems” that challenge the stability of our social, political, economic, and ecological systems. While education is a key site for preparing people to confront these wicked problems, our existing educational institutions were designed for a different era. Drawing on decolonial critiques, this talk will ask: What kind of global education could prepare us to face our increasingly volatile, uncertain, and complex world in more mature, discerning, and accountable ways?
