Testing digital investigation techniques
Whether Twitter bots or deepfakes, we are all surrounded by high-frequency information pulses that are often invisible to us. As consumers of online content, we are no longer neutral or passive recipients of information. We may as well be the main channels for its dissemination and reproduction. The goal of the event is to teach and test different techniques and methods for recognizing misinformation. The workshop is aimed at pupils, teachers, students and other interested parties and will take place online.

Erprobung digitaler Untersuchungstechniken
Ob Twitter-Bots oder Deepfakes – wir sind alle von hochfrequenten Informationsimpulsen umgeben, die häufig unsichtbar für uns sind. Als Verbraucher und Konsumenten von Online-Inhalten sind wir keine neutralen oder passiven Empfänger von Informationen mehr. Wir können genauso gut die Hauptkanäle für deren Verbreitung und Vervielfältigung sein. Das Ziel der Veranstaltung ist, unterschiedliche Techniken und Methoden zum Erkennen von Fehlinformationen zu vermitteln und zu erproben. Der Workshop richtet sich an Schüler*innen, Lehrkräfte, Studierende und andere Interessierte und wird online stattfinden.
Der Workshop wird auf Englisch gehalten.
