Real labs- university in the middle of the city Real laboratory - university in the middle of the city

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy defines a real laboratory as a test room, often limited in time and space, in which innovative technologies or business models are tested under real conditions. Increasingly, the focus is not only on the technical feasibility of research results, but also on their acceptance. In real labs, the university is meeting with citizens. They often prove to be experts in their own fields. Knowlege exchange, this term for the exchange of knowledge and experience at eye level, is still comparatively little established in German-speaking countries. At TU Braunschweig, this exchange of knowledge takes place in many areas, especially in real labs, which we have summarised for you.
