Applicants have a good chance of obtaining a place on their desired degree programme at Technische Universität Braunschweig by lottery. In addition, prospective students can still enrol for degree programmes with open admissions until 15 October 2023.
In the lottery procedure, prospective students have the opportunity to get hold of places in a restricted-admission degree programme that have become available at short notice or have not yet been allocated. Applicants can submit lottery applications from now until 19 October 2023. Simply send an email with the subject “Losverfahren” and the name of the degree programme and your contact details to the Student Office i-amt@tu-braunschweig.de at TU Braunschweig.
This winter semester, TU Braunschweig is conducting a lottery procedure in the following Bachelor’s subjects:
Educational Sciences, Food Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Protestant Theology and Religious Education (double major Bachelor’s degree), Food Chemistry, Mathematics Education (double major Bachelor’s degree), Media Sciences with minor in Computer and Communication Systems Engineering, Media Sciences with minor in Art History and Aesthetics (Bachelor’s degree), Philosophy (double major Bachelor’s degree), Sports and Physical Education (double major Bachelor’s degree), Environmental Sciences, Industrial and Civil Engineering, Industrial and Electrical Engineering.
Prospective students can apply for as many degree programmes in the lottery procedure as they wish. However, only one application may be submitted per degree programme.
The website of the lottery procedure is continuously updated which means that more subjects may be added.
Enrolment for open-admission subjects is still ongoing
From Civil Engineering to Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering to Environmental and Transportation Engineering: Numerous degree programmes at TU Braunschweig have open admissions. Prospective students who have made up their minds late have the opportunity to enrol in these courses for the winter semester 2023/24 until 15 October 2023.
Prospective students who have made up their minds at short notice have several options to check whether they are the right fit for the desired subject. You can either get individual advice directly from the Academic Advice Service, use the online self-assessment to make your decision or watch a video to learn more about the degree programme.
