Teaching Online to an International Audience 1. December 2022 | 09:00 h - 12:00 h

When English is your second language, holding a class for an international audience presents challenges: How do you set expectations, structure lessons, handle intercultural issues, and deal with difficult situations? This workshop will help you to understand the influence of culture on both teaching and learning and how to use this knowledge to plan more effective teaching sessions. You will learn how to structure lessons to allow for maximum understanding and retention of material and get to know questioning techniques to open a lecture, activate students during a lecture, and close a lecture.
