The Braunschweig Region Employers’ Association (AGV), Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig are offering companies additional opportunities to attract skilled workers via the \u2018Stellenticket\u2019 portal<\/a>. While TU Braunschweig has been publishing job offers on the portal since 2019, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences will also be joining in January 2026. The AGV thus offers its more than 1,000 member companies an efficient way to distribute job advertisements at both universities at the same time. The goal: to keep students and graduates in the region as highly qualified skilled workers.<\/p>\n

\u2018Stellenticket\u2019 is integrated directly into the universities’ websites, giving companies access to the academic target group. Recruiters can create company profiles and post job offers themselves or use a recruitment service. Job seekers can narrow down their interests using filters and notifications, so they only see job offers that are really relevant to them.<\/p>\n

“Through our cooperation with ‘Stellenticket’, we are creating another connecting element between science and industry for the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region. On the portal, employers can post jobs for graduates, working students, theses and internships in a cost-effective and easy way,” says Lars Alt, Managing Director of AGV. He sees a new quality in the cooperation between companies and universities \u2013 and new opportunities to promote the close relationship between research, teaching and the world of work in the region.<\/p>\n

Prof. Arno Kwade, Vice President for Transfer and Innovation at TU Braunschweig, also sees great potential in the cooperation:<\/p>\n

“With the joint job portal, we are creating a central, digital point of contact that connects students and graduates directly with the innovative companies in our region. Through this close partnership, we are combining scientific excellence and economic practice. We are convinced that this will provide a boost for innovation and growth.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Prof. Julia Siegm\u00fcller, President of Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, also emphasises how valuable close cooperation between educational institutions and the regional economy is: “As a university of applied sciences, close links with companies are particularly important to us. In addition to specialist knowledge, our graduates also bring valuable experience from our real-world laboratories and practical phases in companies. Especially in view of the current economic upheavals and the transformation of entire industries, AGV, TU Braunschweig and our university want to play a constructive role and contribute to strengthening the region \u2013 ideally by retaining bright minds here.”<\/p>\n

AGV Managing Director Lars Alt concludes by praising the commitment of TU Braunschweig and Ostfalia: “We can see that things are happening in university management. This is also good for the regional economy.
