In addition to works in which the tuba plays a leading role, the programme of the three concerts includes a solo concert by tuba player Daniel Barth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The brass instrument stands out due to its dimensions and is an integral part of an orchestra. However, its role in the sound structure is often rather diffuse. It is responsible for the depth of the sound, but is seldom entrusted with melodic tasks. The TU Braunschweig Orchestra, under the baton of Markus L\u00fcdke, presents the tuba in all its diversity to dispel preconceptions about the instrument.<\/p>\n<p>Embedded in the symphony concert is the solo concert of tuba player Daniel Barth with the work &#8220;Tuba Concerto op. 139&#8221; by the Hungarian composer Jorge Salgueiro.<\/p>\n<p>The concerts are free of charge.
