Wanted: Leaders with passion. This was the motto of this year’s award ceremony at the “Top 40 under 40” summit organised by the business magazine “Capital”. Professor Anne Paschke, Head of the Institute of Law at Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig, was once again one of the winners.<\/p>\n

Each year, a jury selects 40 exceptional people for Capital magazine, who must meet two basic requirements: they must be under 40 years of age and they must have achieved extraordinary things in the past year. There are different categories, such as politics and administration, science and civil society. After Anne Paschke was one of the 40 under 40 last year, she was honoured again in Berlin on 17 November. Earlier this year, the Braunschweig-based scientist received the “Young Leaders in GovTech” award from Public Deutschland and Tagesspiegel Background. In 2021, she was the only German to be included in the World Economic Forum’s “Agile50” list<\/a>. For many years, the IT lawyer has been committed to sustainable, fair and equitable digitalisation that benefits everyone.<\/p>\n

Anne Paschke<\/a> was appointed to TU Braunschweig in October 2021, where she teaches public law, technology law and the law of digitalisation. She was previously Deputy Head of the Department for Fundamental Issues of Digital Policy at the Federal Chancellery.<\/p>\n

“I’m delighted to have been honoured,” says Professor Paschke about the award. “I didn’t expect to be voted into the top 40 under 40 again.” The 35-year-old constitutional law expert says that this is, of course, a tribute to her commitment and also a credit to her entire team, who have given her the support she needs for her voluntary work in practice. In September 2023, she was elected to the board of the German IT Court Conference, where she is particularly committed to improving digital access to the law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
