In September, they will be demonstrating how accident prevention can work at the international motor show \u201cAutomechanika Frankfurt\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n Christopher Nolan\u2019s film adaptation of the \u2018Odyssey\u2019 has been filling cinemas for several weeks now. But how much does the film really have in common with Homer\u2019s epic? This was the subject of an intensive seminar organised by the Institute of Philosophy. The<\/span> results<\/span><\/a> were published by lecturers Prof. Nicole Karafyllis, Prof. Johannes Wienand and PD Dr Alfred Dunshim on 29 July in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.<\/span><\/p>\n A<\/span> three-part online continuing professional development course<\/span><\/a> organised by the Lower Saxony Universities\u2019 Sustainability Network, starting in January 2027, demonstrates how this can be done. With a practical and concrete approach, the course supports teaching staff in developing their own courses step by step to align them with ESD principles.<\/span><\/p>\n Solve real-world challenges in international teams and present the results at the Green Circular Metals Expert Forum in Amsterdam in September: this is what Master\u2019s students, graduates and doctoral students can do as part of the<\/span> EIT Raw Materials Challenge<\/span><\/a>. The winners will receive prize money of 1,000 euros. The application deadline is 15 August.<\/span><\/p>\n The<\/span> scholarship<\/span><\/a> supports Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s students writing their thesis on sustainable technologies. In addition to financial support of 300 euros per month, the scholarship also offers mentoring and valuable industry contacts. Please feel free to pass this on to students.
