The award, valid for the period 2027\u20132029, recognises the high quality of research, teaching and organisation<\/a>. Factors regularly assessed include the proportion of third-party funding secured, the drop-out rate, compliance with curricular standards, internationalisation and the student-tutor ratio.<\/p>\n The two professors from the Institute of Law have been honoured with the 13th For\u2026Net Award. The prize recognises their outstanding commitment to a public-interest-oriented, legally sound digital transformation<\/a>. Congratulations!<\/p>\n In 2026, four international and national experts will be working alongside universities in Lower Saxony to explore the potential of artificial intelligence, extended reality and other future technologies<\/a>. The first two fellows have already commenced their work.<\/p>\n Prof. Job Floris<\/a> is the new Head of the Institute for Design and Spatial Composition. His research and teaching focus on public buildings and urban spaces as places of encounter, participation and collective identity. A warm welcome to him!<\/p>\n From 1 September, the car parks in the East (Langer Kamp, GITZ, Beethovenstra\u00dfe) and North campus areas will also be integrated into the car park management system. If car park users in these areas have not yet created a user account, they can do so via the familiar link<\/a>. Parking tickets can also be purchased via this link.<\/p>\n For the upcoming issue of ARCH+, we are seeking<\/a> new, environmentally sustainable robotics projects across the architectural value chain, from the design studio to the building site. Helga Blocksdorf and Katharina Benjamin from IKON at TU Braunschweig will serve as guest editors<\/a>.<\/p>\n With the Ecoversity Seed Funding Call \u201cSerendipity by Design\u201d<\/a>, TU Braunschweig is supporting spaces that foster exchange and enable the joint development and implementation of new ideas. The call for tender has now been published by the Project House. Applications can be submitted until 10 September 2026.<\/p>\n The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation<\/a> is funding the \u201cHenriette Herz Scouting Programme\u201d: selected professors can act as scouts to approach international talent and nominate them for a Humboldt Scholarship, which enables them to undertake a research stay at a German research facility.<\/p>\n TU students presented their \u201cFuturlink\u201d concept at the FutureMINT Conference in Berlin<\/a>: the platform is designed to make it easier for all STEM students to access projects in companies and at universities. The preceding thinkathon and the FutureMINT Conference form part of the \u201cZukunftsmission Bildung\u201d (Education for the Future) initiative, through which the Stifterverband seeks innovative contributions to the further development of STEM higher education.<\/b><\/p>\n In September, an online training course on knowledge transfer<\/a> will begin for student assistants who support transfer-oriented courses. The course provides a concise overview of tools, services and funding opportunities that enable student assistants to support courses professionally.
