\u25ba Research meets schools<\/h3>\n

The first five projects of the School Outreach Fund<\/a> at TU Braunschweig have been selected. Researchers and educationalists are jointly developing new teaching and learning formats that adapt current research for the classroom. In this way, the university is strengthening the transfer of knowledge between the university and schools.<\/p>\n

Through this call for proposals, the Volkswagen Foundation is funding exploratory research projects<\/a> on the unintended effects of concepts from the humanities and social sciences in political and ideological contexts. The deadline for applications is 6 October.<\/p>\n

\u2026 are the \u2018Applied Mechanics\u2019 department (Institute of Applied Mechanics) and the fuel cell team (Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Fuel Cells)! Both teams were honoured as \u2018Best Research Environment<\/a>\u2019. The fuel cell team also received prize money of 10,000 euros. With this award, the Young Academy and the Volkswagen Foundation recognise inspiring, fair and supportive research conditions. Congratulations!<\/p>\n
