TU Braunschweig has once again been awarded the \u2018audit familiengerechte hochschule\u2019 certificate. This marks the second time it has received this accolade in recognition of its long-standing and sustained commitment to promoting family-friendly working and study conditions. The certificate is regarded as a seal of quality<\/a> for a strategically planned policy on work-life balance.<\/p>\n Prof. Gabriele G. Kiefer<\/a>, Head of the Institute of Landscape Architecture, has been appointed to the City of Berlin\u2019s new Berlin Climate Adaptation Advisory Board. Established by the Senate, the scientific advisory board will provide expert guidance on the city\u2019s climate adaptation policy in future.<\/p>\n The International Max Planck Research School for Solar System Science is celebrating its 250th PhD. The joint graduate school<\/a> of the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research, the University of G\u00f6ttingen and TU Braunschweig strengthens international space research through research in the fields of astrophysics, geosciences and instrumentation.<\/p>\n Sponsors<\/a> are still being sought for the Deutschlandstipendium, which supports students at our university during their studies. Students can apply<\/a> for funding for the 2026\/27 academic year until 30 June.<\/p>\n As one of 600 young international researchers, the PhD student in physics at the Institute of Applied Physics<\/a> will meet over 70 Nobel laureates in Lindau from 28 June to 3 July 2026. He was nominated by his supervisor, Prof. Uta Schlickum, head of the \u2018Nanoscopic Systems\u2019 research group at TU Braunschweig.<\/p>\n How can event organisers at our university plan events in a resource-efficient and climate-conscious manner? Answers to these questions are provided in a new guide<\/a> published by the Sustainability Council and the Green Office.<\/p>\n From 1 June, PhD students and postdocs can apply for the Call for Impact<\/a>, which funds projects for half a year with up to 1,000 euros and offers coaching support. The aim is to enrich research through new perspectives and ideas from non-academic target groups and, in turn, to share this knowledge with the general public.<\/p>\n They are among the most exciting technological trends in the field of education. The TU Big Band kicks off this varied summer of concerts with well-known classics, jazz and funk. The University Choir focuses on the element of fire. And the TU Orchestra presents a symphonic comedy of mistaken identity featuring music from Shakespeare\u2019s \u2018A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u2019.
