Through these awards, the Green Office recognises scientific papers, student engagement and teaching methods that contribute to sustainable development. Congratulations to all the winners!<\/p>\n On 11 June, our Pride flag<\/a> was raised on University Square. Students, staff and members of the local community accepted the Diversity Office\u2019s invitation and came together to send a message. At our university, diversity is not merely a \u2018nice-to-have\u2019. We see it as a prerequisite for excellent research and teaching, visible knowledge transfer activities and effective administration.<\/p>\n The Friends of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research and TU Braunschweig have honoured Prof. Craig M. Crews of Yale University<\/a> with the 2026 Inhoffen Medal. The natural products researcher is regarded as a pioneer of innovative therapeutic approaches. The award for outstanding achievements in organic chemistry and drug discovery was presented on 11 June in Braunschweig.<\/p>\n As one of five degree programmes, the Bachelor\u2019s programme in \u201cBattery and Hydrogen Technology\u201d has won the MINTchallenge plus 2026. On 23 June<\/a>, as part of the University Future Festival, anyone interested can join Ward Morris in creating an artistic installation from electronic waste. As an example of intercultural medieval studies, it is the focus of a conference<\/a> taking place at our university from 18 to 20 June.<\/p>\n From 13 August to 1 October, the Innovation Festival<\/a> will tour the region, discussing future-oriented topics, bringing together academia and industry, and strengthening collaborations. The series of events is a collaboration between iTUBS and the Alliance for the Region as part of the Regional Transformation Network of South-East Lower Saxony (ReTraSON).<\/p>\n From appointment negotiations and successful grant applications to social media in academia: postdocs in the R2\u2013R3 career phases can once again look forward to a wide range of workshops, networking events and webcasts<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2026 at the \u201cEuropean Higher Education Forum (EHEF26)<\/a>\u201d organised by the European Delegation in Tokyo and Kyoto on current career options at TU Braunschweig.<\/p>\n The Lower Saxony Research Data Management Initiative is once again seeking published research data and software<\/a> that comply with the FAIR principles.
