TU Braunschweig is establishing a professorship in AI for product development<\/a> in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group. The aim is to further expand research in the mobility sector and to accelerate the transfer of scientific knowledge into industrial practice. The professorship will be located at the Institute of Engineering Design.<\/p>\n The \u201cWissenschaftsschaufenster\u201d<\/a> (Science Showcase) at Waisenhausdamm 8 is a model of success. This is why the temporary shop premises in the city centre will continue to offer insights into the work of scientists from the Braunschweig Research Region next year, too.<\/p>\n From 1 June, prospective students can apply to our university<\/a> to study one of 94 degree programmes. On 2 June at 5 pm, there will be a lively discussion. Under the heading: \u201cFar-fetched theories? Gut feelings and visions for the future of Campus North\u201d, the event will kick off with a discussion about the open spaces on the campus.<\/p>\n The police wish to play a greater role as a practical partner in interdisciplinary research projects in the future. Topics of interest include urban safety, digitalisation and social cohesion. To this end, the Braunschweig Police Headquarters<\/a> is hosting an event on 16 June.<\/p>\n From 1 June, PhD students and postdocs can apply for the Call for Impact<\/a>, which provides funding of up to \u20ac1,000 for six months and includes coaching support. The aim is to enrich research through new perspectives and ideas from non-academic groups and, in turn, to share this knowledge with the wider community.<\/p>\n The Impulsfonds grant programme<\/a> supports postdocs of our university in participating in international exchange programs and research stays abroad, as well as in developing their research profiles and international collaborations. The current call for applications is open until 1 August.<\/p>\n \u2026 are all the researchers taking part in the Science Salon<\/a> on 3 June. Around 30 scientists from the region will be discussing their research topics in one-to-one conversations, answering curious questions and offering surprising perspectives.
