The new name<\/a> sums up what it\u2019s all about: collaboration between academia, industry and the local community. TU Braunschweig, Ostfalia, Fraunhofer, Volkswagen, Open Hybrid LabFactory and the City of Wolfsburg are jointly developing the campus into a hub for innovation in the automotive circular economy.<\/p>\n Prof. Stefan D\u00fcbel and Prof. Michael Hust<\/a> from the Institute of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, together with their partners, have been awarded the international \u2018Replication Prize\u2019 by the US National Institutes of Health. Their aim: to make experiments more reliable through the use of artificial antibodies whilst avoiding animal testing.<\/p>\n As part of the German-Swedish student programme REXUS, ERIG e.V., with the support of the Institute of Space Systems, developed a space experiment on 3D printing in microgravity<\/a>. The successful flight aboard the REXUS 35 high-altitude research rocket took the project to an altitude of around 75 kilometres.<\/p>\n A warm welcome! Prof. Jens Lambrecht<\/a> is the new head of the Institute of Robotics and Process Informatics. Together with his team, he is developing AI-based, adaptive systems that can flexibly adapt to their environment and support people in their daily lives.<\/p>\n \u2026 sent to us by Computer Science student Caroline Krebs.
