The facility at the Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFF) will play a central role in the development of safe, efficient and scalable hydrogen infrastructures and will strengthen research into the energy supply of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig is working within a consortium to feed production waste from gigafactories directly back into the manufacturing cycle: The aim of the <\/span>\u201cSkArec\u201d<\/span><\/a> project is to reduce raw material imports and halve the carbon footprint \u2013 waste becomes a resource for battery production.<\/span><\/p>\n TU Braunschweig, Hanover Medical School (MHH) and Braunschweig Municipal Hospital (skbs) aim to <\/span>pool their strengths<\/span><\/a>. The aim is to achieve closer integration of research and clinical practice within the \u201cEngineering for Health\u201d core research area \u2013 from basic research to application \u2013 and thus to develop innovative solutions for healthcare in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n The research project <\/span>TRANSFEX<\/span><\/a>, headed by Prof. Anne Paschke from the Institute of Law, aims to remove legal barriers to collaboration between universities and industry. The aim is to facilitate more start-ups and collaborations through leaner structures, model contracts and practical guidelines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This question is the focus of the <\/span>MINT-FaSt project<\/span><\/a>, in which our university\u2019s Institute for Science Education (IFdN) is involved. The project focuses in particular on access to, use of and quality of STEM provision.<\/span><\/p>\n What do the humanities still have to say to us today? This is the topic of a <\/span>panel discussion on the programme \u201cKulturleben\u201c<\/span><\/a> on Bayern 2 on 7 May. Prof. R\u00fcdiger Heinze from the Institute of English and American Studies will discuss this with Prof. Eva Geulen from the Leibniz Centre for Literary and Cultural Research and PD Kristin Eichhorn from the University of Stuttgart. On 5 May, Janna Vollrath (TU Munich) and Gili Ron (University of Stuttgart) will speak about digital transformation at the intersection of technology and social responsibility. Do come along!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The<\/span> Fellowships<\/span><\/a> enable ten international researchers \/ scientists from the humanities, cultural studies and Social Sciences to conduct research in Lower Saxony for up to six months in 2027 \u2013 in tandem with researchers from the host institution.
