With its new initiative \u2018Collaboration Boosts Science\u2019<\/a>, Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig is making its research visible to society and putting the people behind it in the spotlight. In its initial phase, the initiative is introducing six professors. Through their work, they demonstrate how research contributes concretely to overcoming societal challenges such as climate change, the energy crisis and other global crises.<\/p>\n

Through the \u2018Collaboration Boosts Science\u2019 initiative, TU Braunschweig is specifically strengthening its public presence. Instead of abstract phrases, personal portraits provide insight into the individual paths, questions and successes of the scientists. This makes it clear that at Germany’s Technical University with the oldest roots, tradition and innovative spirit<\/strong> go hand in hand when it comes to conducting responsible research and developing sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n

TU President Prof. Dr. Angela Ittel: “At our university, we have two strong driving forces: the passion of our members and the will to work together, overcome disciplinary boundaries and add value to society. At the TU, we are highly motivated to convey precisely these aspects in our teaching and thus reach our students. This is exactly what makes us innovative, attractive as an employer and relevant to society.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With their commitment and passion for new discoveries, the researchers presented embody the university’s aspiration to bring knowledge to society<\/strong> and create real added value through cooperation across disciplinary boundaries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Digital formats for young target groups and short videos on social media make research tangible and inspire potential young talent to explore academic paths \u2013 and not only in the technical disciplines. From March 2026, posters in Lower Saxony and Berlin will give a face to research at TU Braunschweig and highlight the excellent research infrastructure in one of Europe’s strongest research regions.<\/p>\n

An international digital campaign is also planned in the near future to showcase<\/strong> the university’s innovative strength and social contribution worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
