At the <\/span>public event<\/span><\/a>, which takes place at 10 a.m. in front of the old building, TU members have the opportunity to commemorate the victims with a minute’s silence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n How can we raise awareness of future issues in mathematics lessons? That\u2019s the goal of the <\/span>\u201cThink Sustainably \u2014 Act Mathematically\u201d<\/span><\/a> project, run by the Institute for the Didactics of Mathematics and Elementary Mathematics at the University of W\u00fcrzburg. Real-world relevant math problems play an important role in this project.<\/span><\/p>\n The voltage from Frank Anang\u2019s <\/span>microscopically small power plant<\/span><\/a> will supply energy to implanted sensors in the future. In the long term, however, he would like to contribute his metrological expertise to the National Metrology Institute in his home country of Ghana.<\/span><\/p>\n A warm welcome to <\/span>Prof. Ann-Marie Ingrid Nienaber<\/span><\/a>. She is the new professor of Business Ethics, Sustainability and Social Change. It starts on 17 January at 12 noon \u2013 just tune in to 104.6 Mhz or <\/span>okerwelle.de<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>award<\/span><\/a> honours female engineers whose dissertations have added value for society with prize money of \u20ac15,000. Scientific institutions can submit nominations to the foundation until 1 March.<\/span><\/p>\n The Braunschweig Centre for Gender Studies <\/span>supports teaching assignments, guest lectures and student assistants<\/span><\/a>.
