Following the decisions of the Excellence Initiative, President Prof. Angela Ittel is focusing on the strategic research orientation of TU Braunschweig. However, local yak herders report that the grazing land is deteriorating. He will discuss the current challenges facing the German steel industry, as well as the measures that Salzgitter AG has taken to decarbonise and transform steel production. Registration is not required.<\/p>\n At this year’s Hydrology Day, the DO IT (Digitisation of Analogue Records in Time) project, run by the Department of Hydrology and River Basin Management at the Leichtweiss Institute for Hydraulic Engineering, was honoured for its practical relevance. In the DO IT project, citizen scientists with no prior experience or special training can digitise scanned measurement data, thereby creating better data for climate impact research and flood protection<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Commission and stakeholders have developed a set of guidelines to support the European researchers in their responsible use of generative artificial intelligence <\/a>(AI). As examples, it is recommended that AI systems do not get authorship, to always mention the kind of generative AI in the method section and to always reflect their results critically.<\/p>\n Under the motto \u201cMaintain. Save\u201d<\/a>, the Society for the History of Building Technology (Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Bautechnikgeschichte) conference took place at the invitation of TU Braunschweig and the City of Braunschweig.
