On this occasion, Dean Henri Werij and Prof. Peter Hecker, Vice President for Research at TU Braunschweig, signed an <\/span>agreement to intensify joint research into sustainable aviation<\/span><\/a>. There are also plans to extend this to sustainable and multimodal transport.<\/span><\/p>\n TU Braunschweig is taking over meteorological measurements on the <\/span>FINO1 offshore research platform<\/span><\/a> in the North Sea. The data is important for the further development of offshore wind energy. The aim of the research is to gain insights into offshore wind, reduce costs, increase yields and ensure the reliable operation of wind turbines.<\/span><\/p>\n On 13 May, the Media Lab und Emerging Tech Lab of the Project House invites you to the<\/span> Future-Tech:Stage of the University:Future Festival (U:FF) 2025<\/span><\/a>. The focus will be on future technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and quantum computing \u2013 and their use in university teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n On 7 May, the Architecture Pavilion will host the <\/span>\u201cTUmorrow Awards 2025 \u2013 Sustainability Awards of the Braunschweigischer Hochschulbund\u201d<\/span><\/a>, with prizes being awarded in four categories. The University will also be celebrating its official designation as a Fairtrade University, a milestone in the institution’s commitment to fair trade. The online lecture series will cover topics such as password management, digital crime and the risks associated with the use of AI tools.<\/span><\/p>\n The image shows a plastic strand being deposited during 4D printing. 4D printing? The term refers to the additive manufacturing of active structures, in this case with shape memory.
