Redaktion: <\/span>Hannah Kre\u00df<\/span><\/p>\n Under the leadership of the Project House, the Department of Teaching, headed by Professor Knut Baumann, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, has had two major proposals approved by the \u201cStiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre\u201d. The joint project \u201cCampus in Transition\u201d is one of twelve consortia to receive funding out of 227 applications in the new \u201cLehrarchitektur\u201d <\/span>funding line<\/span><\/a> with a budget of 480 million euros. In addition, TU Braunschweig will receive one of 68 individual grants for the application \u201cExplorer Master – Learning durch Neugier\u201d. A detailed presentation of the projects will follow in the coming months.<\/span><\/p>\n Alumna Merle Schmidt-Brunn provides exclusive insights into innovative solutions, current projects and challenges on the road to <\/span>sustainable mobility<\/span><\/a>. The Chief Financial and Sustainability Officer of Hamburger Hochbahn will report on the contribution of Hamburg’s public transport system to sustainable development and autonomous mobility on 8 May at 18:30 in the Old Building.<\/span><\/p>\n A science talk with Prof. Jan R\u00f6hnert, Institute of German Studies (Department of Modern German Literature), will take place on 29 April at 18:30 in the <\/span>Science and Art Lab<\/span><\/a>. He will talk about the pop poet Rolf Dieter Brinkmann (1940-1975), in whose poetry the theme of \u201cflying\u201d plays a central role. Waisenhausdamm 8, free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n Professor Christopher Teskey<\/span><\/a> has received a grant of 600,000 euros as part of the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation\u2019s Rise up! Programme. The funds will enable him and his team to research more efficient methods of molecular editing. This method has the potential to significantly accelerate the development of active substances.<\/span><\/p>\n Congratulations to <\/span>Prof Bastian Kindermann<\/span><\/a>! Together with co-authors, he has received the 2024 Shelby D. Hunt\/Harold H. Maynard Award from the American Marketing Association (AMA). The award recognizes the \u201cJournal of Marketing\u201d article published in the last calendar year that has made the most significant contribution to marketing theory.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Can you really avoid traffic jams? And if not, how can you still get through them in a reasonably relaxed manner? The Institute of Flight Guidance offers a unique opportunity to investigate scientific questions in practice using the TU research aircraft Cessna F406 \u201cD-ILAB\u201d as a flying measurement platform.<\/span><\/p>\n The Media Lab is once again offering the introductory event \u201cThe AI Toolbox \u2013 what is it, how does it work and what can I do with it\u201d in cooperation with the Professional and Personnel Development. The latest innovations in the AI Toolbox will also be presented.
