\u25ba TU Braunschweig is involved in a new research network<\/b><\/h3>\n

The new research network<\/span> Klima.Zukunftslabor UMEX-HOPE<\/span><\/a> at the Lower Saxony Centre for Climate Research (ZKfN) investigates the effects of the microclimate on health. The research project, in which TU Braunschweig is participating through the Institute for Geoecology, is funded with around five million euros from the joint funding programme zukunft.niedersachsen of the state of Lower Saxony and the VolkswagenStiftung.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba Research for sustainable aviation: \u201cCommitment and passion\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n

Michelangelo Grappadelli works as a doctoral student at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics. He has investigated the laminar boundary layer of aircraft wings for the SE<\/span>2<\/span>A Cluster of Excellence. However, as he says in his <\/span>interview<\/span><\/a>, for him it is more than just research.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba Polish-German student workshop in the small Silesian town of Zi\u0119bice<\/b><\/h3>\n

The <\/span>workshop in March<\/span><\/a> focused on the German-Jewish heritage in the region and aimed to document the local empty synagogue and Jewish cemetery from an architectural research perspective and to develop ideas for the future use of the synagogue complex.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba Honour for pioneering work<\/b><\/h3>\n

Prof. Eduard Jorswieck, Managing Director of the Institute of Communications Engineering, has been elected a member of the <\/span>National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI)<\/span><\/a>. The Academy honours Prof. Jorswieck for his \u2018pioneering work in the field of physical layer security and contributions to 6G technologies\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba<\/span> Lunch break short lectures \u201cGender meets STEM\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n

The mostly <\/span>20-30 minute talks<\/span><\/a> are part of an interdisciplinary series of seminars organised by the Braunschweig Centre for Gender Studies and take place every Wednesday at 11.30 a.m. in the Old Building and are open to all interested parties.<\/span><\/p>\n

The campus is in <\/span>full bloom<\/span><\/a> with beautiful yellow flowers! Thanks to nearly 130 students from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences who planted around 30,000 bulbs across the central and north campuses. Thanks to Faculty 3 and GB3, the splendour of the flowers can be enjoyed from many new seating areas on campus. Thank you very much for this! We wish everyone sunny spring days and a happy Easter.<\/span><\/p>\n
