TU Braunschweig is involved in one of the 16 projects as the lead organisation and twice as a participating institution: CoastAdapt – Knowledge and Innovation Ecosystem Coastal Engineering & Coastal Research, Science Space Microelectronics: Heterogeneous Chiplet-based Systems in Research and Teaching and Teaching Labs for the Analysis and Promotion of Core Teaching Practice.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>picture of the month<\/span><\/a> shows the argon plasma of an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) at temperatures up to 10,000 Kelvin. The ultra-modern device for elemental trace analysis analyses liquid samples. This plays an important role in the development of sustainable energy technologies and future-proof battery systems.<\/span><\/p>\n In classroom management training, students try out appropriate behaviour strategies to help them cope with pupils in their future careers. In an interview with \u201cCampus Schulmanagement\u201d, <\/span>Dr Gesa Uhde<\/span><\/a> talks about her research.<\/span><\/p>\n Graduate Antonia St\u00f6cker<\/span><\/a> has been awarded first prize in the AIV Schinkel Competition for Architecture for her Master’s thesis \u201cProjekt Furi – tanz aus der Reihe\u201d, which was developed at the Institute of Building Design under Prof Dan Sch\u00fcrch. Specialist presentations, exclusive tours and networking opportunities at eight locations will provide an opportunity to share expertise, exchange ideas and tackle the challenges facing the mobility industry together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sign-up for the 14th <\/span>Campus Run<\/span><\/a> of the University Sports Centre on 26 May has started. Traditionally, a 5 km fun run and a 10 km main run are available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Students and doctoral candidates founded a <\/span>junior research group of the Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics<\/span><\/a> (GAMM) to promote <\/span>interdisciplinary cooperation<\/span> between young researchers from related fields. All interested are invited to the founding party on 8 May from 6 pm behind the old main building.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Our darling of the week was able to inspire many curious young faces for the world of science last week. On 25 April, this year’s nationwide Future Day, numerous institutes offered exciting insights into various fields of study and work.
