\u25ba Strategic Partnership with Mexico<\/h3>\n

TU Braunschweig has been cooperating with the Universidad Nacional Auton\u00f3ma de M\u00e9xico (UNAM) for more than 15 years. A strategic partnership agreement<\/a> was signed during a visit to Mexico by a delegation from TU Braunschweig.<\/p>\n

\u25ba LogiSmile: Autonomous vehicles deliver parcels<\/h3>\n

On 22 March, a European research consortium presented a logistics system for a more sustainable last mile at the Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFF). The scientists demonstrated two autonomous lifting and delivery vehicles in real road traffic <\/a>on Hermann-Blenk-Stra\u00dfe at Braunschweig Research Airport.<\/p>\n

\u25ba For a better climate in hospitals<\/h3>\n

How do indoor climate, air quality, architecture and work organisation influence recovery in hospitals? TU Braunschweig, TU Berlin and Charit\u00e9 are investigating this in an interdisciplinary project<\/a> to develop energy- and cost-efficient model solutions for the construction, renovation and operation of hospitals.<\/p>\n

\u25ba TU Braunschweig honoured as building owner<\/h3>\n

Another award for the Student House! One of the two award of the German University Building Award <\/a>2024 goes to Braunschweig. The Student House is the first new building to be completed by TU Braunschweig following the transfer of building ownership. Congratulations!<\/p>\n

\u25ba Exhibition with Student House and Audmax<\/h3>\n

From 5 to 26 April, the exhibition \u201cBDA Preis Niedersachsen\u201d <\/a>will be on display at the Flebbe House in Braunschweig, Bohlweg\/Corner Damm. In addition to the BDA Prize-winning Student House, the exhibition also included the Audimax, which was renovated as listed building and made the shortlist, will also be on show. A total of 27 building projects will be on display on the shop windows around the clock.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Inaugural lecture<\/h3>\n

Prof. Dr. Franziska Neumann, Institute for History, will hold her Inaugural lecture<\/a> \u201cAbfall in der Fr\u00fchen Neuzeit. Eine nachhaltige Erfolgsgeschichte?\u201d on 2 April.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Our youngest \u2026<\/h3>\n

… research assistant is Jan Nordmeier, aged 22. After completing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in Braunschweig and a master’s degree in Glasgow, Nordmeier started work in March as a research assistant at the Institute of Joining and Welding Technology<\/a>, more precisely at the Leichtmetallzentrum Soltau LMZS.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Darling of the week<\/h3>\n

Our darling of the week is Katharine, the Studierendenwerk\u00b4s Ca(r)feteria<\/a>. From 2 April, it will be back on Campus North, Monday to Thursday from 9:30 to 13:30, serving sandwiches, snacks, coffee specialities, cold drinks and sweets.<\/p>\n

We would like to wish all students, teachers and staff a happy, peaceful and sunny holidays with their loved ones. And, of course, a great start to the summer term on Tuesday. We are looking forward to many great events and activities on campus.<\/p>\n
