A Senate meeting open to the university public, a staff meeting, a traveling information stand and an online closing event offer all employees the opportunity to find out more and get involved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In November, development talks were held for the second time between the Executive Board and the six faculties. These are an important step towards achieving the goals of <\/span>University Development 2030<\/span><\/a>. A report on the topics addressed, among others, has been published on the <\/span>HSE 2030 website.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The similarities, differences and overlaps between anti-science and anti-Semitism will be discussed at a <\/span>public panel discussion<\/span><\/a> organised by Bet Tfila – Research Centre for Jewish Architecture and Partners on 18 January in Braunschweig’s Old Town Hall. Please register by 17 January: <\/span>info@bet-tfila.org<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Architecture students Antonia St\u00f6cker and Paul Knauer impressed the <\/span>Laves Prize<\/span><\/a> jury with their project for the redesign of the C&A department store in Braunschweig. They were awarded one of the five first prizes. Congratulations!<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>iTUBS Transformittag<\/span><\/a> will take place on 20 February between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Haus der Wissenschaft. The new network format offers insights into the latest iTUBS developments, such as Singapore, HI!CHALLENGE and the conference management HI!CONFERENCE.<\/span><\/p>\n A research team from TU Braunschweig conducted a geophysical survey of permafrost bogs in northern Sweden. This trip not only provided a lot of valuable data, but also left beautiful impressions. Madhuri Sugand, for example, photographed a <\/span>natural spectacle in the sky<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The GUILD Academy and the German Center of Research and Innovation (DWIH) San Francisco promote participation in a hybrid entrepreneurship program for students and scientists. They learn how to bring their start-up idea to market maturity and successfully launch their own company. <\/span>Information and registration for the information event.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The next application phase for the <\/span>DaF\/DaZ study program<\/span><\/a> for the summer semester runs from 22.01 to 04.02. Postdocs and employees can also acquire a certificate for academic and didactic aptitude for tasks related to German as a foreign and second language. An online information event will take place on 26.01.<\/span><\/p>\n Prof. Michael Heere, Institut<\/span>e of Internal Combustion Engines and Fuel Cells<\/span>, and Prof. Christina Umst\u00e4tter, Institute of Agricultural Technology, Johann Heinrich von Th\u00fcnen-Institu<\/span>te, will hold their <\/span>inaugural lecture<\/span>s \u201c<\/span>Facetten der Energiebereitstellung<\/span><\/a>\u201d <\/span>on 16 January.<\/span><\/p>\n An <\/span>interdisciplinary series of events<\/span><\/a> on joint planning methods and evaluation approaches for the sustainable and productive future city was launched at the TU in December. The next workshop on \u201cOperations Research and its application in production and logistics management\u201d will take place on 17 January from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Yay, our two favorites of the week are part of this year’s <\/span>Braunschweig Light Parcours<\/span><\/a>: The two creative TU student designs, a swarm of jellyfish made of lights and an illuminated no-go zone on the Oker, were able to convince the committee along with eleven other works of art.
