\u25ba Recycling: Awarded as \u201cRising Star of the Year\u201d<\/h3>\n

TU Braunschweig has been awarded \u201cRising Star of the Year\u201d<\/a> in the Paper Atlas 2023. The university administration was able to increase the use of recycled paper by 50 percentage points compared to the previous year and thus took first place in the growth ranking of the Paper Atlas.<\/p>\n

\u25ba UK-German Funding Initiative in the Humanities<\/h3>\n

The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) are launching a call for proposals for outstanding joint UK-German research projects in the Humanities<\/a>. The closing date for this call is Tuesday, 20 February 2024.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Why teams stumble \u2013 and how they bounce back<\/h3>\n

In cooperation with the Projekthaus, Co3Learn offers a workshop on teamwork<\/a>. The event is aimed at students and teachers and will take place on 17 November from 9:00 to 13:00 in the conference room of the Masch.Bau. External coaches will accompany the joint exchange to develop strategies for successful group work that can be applied both in courses and in a professional context.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Mental health first aid for TU scientists<\/h3>\n

On 1 October, the pilot project Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)<\/a> for scientists was launched. The programme offers them support in coping with stress in the form of first aid sessions with qualified staff. Read more about the project and the first aiders here.<\/p>\n

\u25ba New programme for corporate health promotion<\/h3>\n

Since 9 October, employees at TU Braunschweig can once again sign up for courses in corporate health promotion<\/a>. They can choose from an array of exercise and relaxation courses, as well as seminars on topics such as improving eye health and mindfulness.<\/p>\n

This winter semester, first-year students can once again look forward to a versatile and varied social media campaign. Since Monday, the Instagram channel of TU Braunschweig<\/a> has been providing valuable information and tips about studying, the campus and the city.<\/p>\n

This year’s Studium Generale<\/a> is once again an invitation to look beyond the familiar horizon of one’s own degree programme. Students have the opportunity to see for themselves the diversity of TU Braunschweig by immersing themselves in new and exciting topics for 45 minutes each.<\/p>\n

\u2026 are the 111 trainees<\/a> who were honoured for their outstanding results on 29 September at the \u201cwestand Kultur- und Eventzentrum\u201d in Braunschweig, including trainees from TU Braunschweig. We wish them all a good start to their careers.<\/p>\n
